UMK
The MKU (also sometimes designated as UMK) is a Polish anti-tank shaped-charge mine from the Warsaw Pact era, designed for manual deployment. The abbreviation MKU stands for Mina Kumulacyjna Uniwersalna (“Universal Cumulation Mine”), while the UMK variant stands for Uniwersalna Mina Kumulacyjna. In both cases, the term “cumulation” refers to the use of a warhead with a directed cumulative blast effect.
