Rg-Vo
RG-Vo (presumably "Hand Grenade—Poisonous Substance") is a Russian-made chemical hand grenade. It uses chloroacetophenone (CN) as its active agent. It irritates the mucous membranes, respiratory tract, and skin. After leaving the contaminated area, the irritation subsides gradually over a period ranging from a few minutes to 2 hours. A gas mask is sufficient for protection against exposure. For decontamination, it is recommended to use a water-alcohol solution of sodium sulfide.
