МОН-100

The MON-100 is the second-largest mine in the MON series, and the designation "100" indicates its estimated lethal range of 100 meters.

The MON-100 and MON-200 are large cylindrical directional fragmentation mines that differ significantly from the smaller MON-50 and MON-90. The MON-100 has a single fuse socket in the center of the concave portion of the body. It can accommodate both electric and non-electric detonators. The mine is equipped with a P-shaped metal frame with a spike for installation. The metal frame has two pivot points, allowing the mine to be oriented in the desired direction. A canvas carrying handle is also attached to the side of the mine’s body. The MON-100’s fragmentation element consists of 400 pieces of cheved steel, each 10 mm long. The fragments are embedded in a resin matrix directly behind the convex side of the mine’s body.
