The Danish M/56 is a plastic-cased, pressure-operated anti-tank blast mine designed to disable enemy tracked and wheeled vehicles by destroying their chassis and running gear. Due to its minimal metal content (only tiny components inside the fuze), this mine is extremely difficult to detect using standard induction metal detectors.
