LU 216 (F1A)
The LU 216 is a French hand grenade developed and manufactured by Alsetex. The LU 216 is an offensive high-explosive grenade. Unlike the LU 213, it lacks a fragmentation element and does not have longitudinal or transverse stiffening ribs on the casing. A separate version, the LU 216 PRA, was produced—a training and simulation version intended for training purposes.
