The AVK-U fuze is a universal fuze equipped with an electro-pyrotechnic initiation device, a reaction-inertia impact mechanism, an adjustable pyrotechnic delay mechanism, and a pyrotechnic delay system. This type of fuze can be installed in both the nose and tail fuses of an aerial bomb.
